Guide for Hair Styling

Six Months
  • Start collecting pictures of styles to discuss at your hair trial.  This helps to have a good understanding of the style you are looking to have for your wedding or special occasion.
  • Think about how your hair sytle fits with the style of your wedding.  For instance is it traditional, formal if so your may decide on a sleek up do style.

Five Months

  • Have a consultation and discuss your chosen style using the pictures that you have collected.
  • Agree a date for the trial.  I recommend six to eight weeks before the wedding.

Three Months

  • Get your hair in good condition by having a hair treatment either at a salon or use a deep conditioning treatment at home.

Two Months

  • Trial time-give your stylist as much information as possible and try several options.  The more you tell your stylist about your wedding the easier it will be to create a style to suit you.  Try and make sure you have your tiara and veil at the trial as you can see the complete look.

One Month

  • For brides with long hair it is an ideal time to have a trim.

Two Weeks

  • If you colour your hair have your final colour to make sure roots are covered.  However this is not a time to experiment with new colour.

The Day Before

  • You will need to wash your hair for the last time before your wedding day.

The Big Day

  • I offer a mini kit to Brides with hair spray and grips for touch ups during the evening and for peace of mind.
