Information on Spray Tanning
Tanning is also avaliable to Brides and other members of the wedding party. I use a mobile cubicle so you can have a spray tan in the comfort of your own home. The tan is sprayed on to the skin and dries as it is applied. I recommend that if you do decide to have a spray tan that you do so two days prior to your wedding day. Four shades are avaliable for you to choose from, to match your skin tone.
Preparation
Exfoliate your skin with a scrub or a body buffer. Shaving and waxing should also be done the day before to give pores time to close. Do not moisturise on the day of tanning. Make-up, deodorant and perfume should be removed prior to your tan.
Clothing
Tantrick solution rarely stains clothing. Any residual colour can be easily removed in the wash. For tanning. clients should wear dark coloured underwear. Loose fitting clothing should be worn after the tanning application. It is not advisable to wear wool, nylon or silk until a shower has been taken approximatley 6 hours after application.
Developing the Tan
A spray gun is used to apply an exact combination of air and tanning lotion directly onto the skin. A 5-10 minute treatment will achieve a flawless tan that develops in full colour strength over a period of up to 24 hours. All bathing, showering, swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided for at least 6 hours after receiving your tan. Small amounts of colour guide may be washed from the skin during showering, this is just the colour guide and not your tan! Please note that chlorine and salt water may dry your skin and cause your sunless tan to fade faster.
Maintaining the Tan
With regular moisturising and general care, your tan should last from 7-10 days, depending on the skin type, skin colour and the extent of your normal bathing routines.
Contra-Indications
A tan should not be offered to clients who have broken skin or during the first trimester of pregnancy. Some medications HRT and hormone level fluctuations may affect the outcome of the tan.
DHA Percentages
There are different Tantrick solutions with varying percentages of DHA which can allow darker tanning. Higher percentages of DHA will not be suitable for paler skins.
